Right after surgery what are your carbs and sugar supposed to be at per serving?

What is your Drs/nutritionist plan for you?, they'd really be the people to ask. For me, right after surgery, the concentration was on getting in my water, vitamins & protein. Carbs wasn't a priority, & sugar definitely not a priority, but a dang good tasting luxury!

I aim for is at least 80g of protein, 80g water, carbs under 50, along with my vitamins, but I didn't reach those goals till I was way past surgery, the stages, & was healed from the surgery. Right after surgery I did what I could & got better later, consult your Dr for what is best for you.

My guess would be as little as possible.  If you're trying to jump-start weight loss, try keeping under 50g /day

None of us can speak to your nutritionist/ surgeons plan on what our plans are. Mine was 60-80g protein a day and under 30g non veggie carbs.

Diluting juice doesn't make the carbs per serving less. 8oz of apple juice has about twenty something g's carbs, whether or not its diluted.

My nut said no more than 15 grams of carbs (not sugar) in a single meal. Since my carbs are from dairy, veggies and limited fruit, the sugar contribution is low.

Drinking your calories is never a good idea.  Stick to no calorie drinks and get your carbs from dairy and veggies.
